THE WRIST IN 4D

3D MODELS PRINTED:

Radius Base, Ulna base, Radius, Ulna, Scaphoid, Lunate, Triquetrum, Pisiform, Trapezium, Trapezoid, Capitate, Hamate, 5 metacarpal bones.

POSSIBLE MODELS TO BUILD:

  1. Wrist Radiocarpal and Midcarpal joint
  2. Wrist and Distal Radioulnar joint
  3. Wrist and Tendinous Radioulnar joint

In this course we will build the following structures:

1. Articular surfaces of the Radius and Ulna on the DRU joint

2. Articular surfaces of the Radius, scaphoid and lunate in the Radiocarpal joint

3. Articular surfaces of the scapho-lunate and lunotriquetrum of the first carpal row.

4. Articular surfaces of the Triquetral-hamate, luno-capitate, scapho-capitate, scaphotrapezoid joint and scaphotrapezium joints. All from the midcarpal.

5. Articular surfaces of the Carpometacarpal joint from finger 4 and finger 5.

Extrinsic Ligaments:

6. Palmar Radiocarpal Ligaments: TESTUD ligament, Radial Collateral Ligament, Radioscaphoid ligament, radioscapho-capitate ligament, radiolunate ligament long and short.

7. Palmar Ulnocarpal Ligaments: ulnolunate ligament, ulnotriquetrum ligament, ulnar collateral ligament.

8. Posterior Radiocarpal Ligaments: radioscaphoid ligament, radioulnar ligament, radioulnotriquetral ligament.

Intrinsic Ligaments

9. Intrinsic Ligaments of the first carpal row: scapholunar ligament, lunotriquetral ligament

10. Palmar Ligaments between carpal rows: pisiform-hamate ligament, pisometacarpal ligament, scapho-trapezium ligament.

11. Dorsal Ligaments between carpal rows: intercarpal dorsal ligament, carpometacarpal dorsal ligaments.

12. Flexor Carpi Radialis

13. Flexor Carpi Ulnaris

14. Extensor Carpi Ulnaris

15. Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus and Brevis

16. Abductor Pollicis Longus

17. Extensor retinaculum
