Introduction to the 4D Finger Anatomy course

The finger is a complex functional unit in which there are many structures that work with surprising balance within a small space. Understanding the details of this anatomy of its kinematics and its kinetics can be very useful for any therapist. The best place to obtain this knowledge is in the dissection room, but no matter how much you want this information, you cannot take it home or show it to your patients.

At MAPS Therapy, we have developed anatomical models that allow you to replicate the real movement of a finger. However, we won’t provide you with these models; instead, you will build them yourself. Using the “learning by doing” methodology, you will construct your own models, thereby uncovering all the secrets of anatomy.

With these models, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of hand anatomy and be able to explain it to your patients, fostering their better understanding of their conditions and engaging them as active participants in their treatment.
